We make all the leaves leave

To some people, fall is the quintessential definition of coziness. The Danes have a specific word for it: Hygge (pronounced HOO-gaH). A brisk breeze with a warm blanket and hot chocolate? Definitely hygge. Roasting marshmallows over an open fire with friends? You better believe it’s got hygge written all over it.

The changing colors of the deciduous forests and falling of leaves could also be characterized as hygge. But eventually, those leaves will make their way to the ground and need to be bagged up and tossed out. This can quickly turn hygge into how-many-more-leaves-do-I-need-to-pick-up? If you’d like to add a bit of hygge to your leaf removal process, you’ve come to the right place.

In the Northern and Midwest states, deciduous leaf removal is an inevitable occurrence. Leaves will fall and need to be removed. If they are left to sit over winter, there is a potential they will smother the grass, promote snow mold disease or even give way to unwanted critters. A clean lawn is a happy lawn.

The good news is we have plenty of experience removing leaves. Our highly trained experts have perfected operations when it comes to fall clean-up. The mowers are fitted with leaf-bagging kits, which collect the excess clippings and bag them. This is especially helpful when leaves are beginning to fall and accumulate on the turf. Next time you mow your grass, start by blowing the leaves off the hardscape and into the lawn. Mow over the leaves and watch them disintegrate into your mulching kit.

When it comes to fall clean-up, remember to work smarter, not harder. By utilizing a few common landscaping tools to do the heavy lifting for you, you can spend more time enjoying that pumpkin-spiced latte next to a roaring fire.
