Dave Mazanowski
Chief Executive Officer
Dave Mazanowski is the co-founder of Mainscape, starting the company in 1984 while on the campus of Ball State University. What started as a summer jobs program and a Christian mission has evolved into one of the nation's largest full service landscape management companies. Dave is a graduate of Ball State and is actively involved in all phases of account development while serving on the board of the Zone Business Association. Dave has also served in the prestigious role as President of Legatus.
Zig Mazanowski
Chief Executive Officer
Zig Mazanowski, brother of Dave, co-founded Brothers Lawn Care, the early forerunner of what is now Mainscape, Inc. Zig is also actively involved in the continued growth of Mainscape and has recently negotiated the company's first venture on the West Coast. Zig has worked tirelessly in the multi-family housing market to raise curb appeal standards in that industry as well as being a leader within the landscape industry for over 20 years. Zig is also a Ball State graduate, with a degree in Political Science.
Scott Miller
President
Scott Miller has been President of Mainscape since 2000 and has been a stalwart in establishing Mainscape as one of the most profitable landscape companies in the United States. Under Scott's leadership, the company has grown over 500% and employs well over 400 people during peak periods. Scott is a graduate of Cedarville University, is a CPA and has served on several boards including the boards of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, the Beacon Society, Chamber Action and Petersen Engineering. Scott currently serves on the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee and Board of Directors, as well as the Indiana Canine Assistant Network and the Crohn's and Colts Foundation. Scott is a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy leadership program, alum of the FBI Citizens Academy, a recipient of the Indianapolis Business Journals 40 under 40, and a member of the Young Presidents Organization.
Mark Forsythe
Vice President Operations
Mark Forsythe joined Mainscape in 2001 and has created a world class team in his role as Vice President of Operations. Mark is a Mechanical Engineer graduate from Rose-Hulman. He has brought an array of analysis and consulting expertise from Accenture where he served as a Business Consultant. Mark is actively involved at Bethesda Baptist Church where he is a Sunday School Instructor.
Lee White
Vice President - Business Development
Lee White joined Mainscape in September 2002 as Vice President of Sales and Customer Service and made an immediate impact on corporate sales, key personnel recruiting and customer service upgrades. Lee has been in the landscape industry for 19 years, having served as a Regional Commercial Manager for TruGreen-Chemlawn, at the time a division of ServiceMaster. Lee is an alumnus of Marian College in Indianapolis, where he majored in Business Administration. Lee is now focusing on Business Development for us and has developed local relationships with Lilly, Dow Agro Sciences, Indianapolis International Airport and national opportunities with Kite, General Motors, Simon Property Group and Premier Properties. Lee was recently named to the Purdue University School of Agriculture Dean’s Advisory Council and the Indiana Sports Corporation President’s Council. Lee is a proud past recipient of the United Way Minority Volunteer of the Year Award and is Vice President of the Board for United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Indiana. He also serves as Membership Committee Chair for the prestigious Skyline Club in Indianapolis and is Stewardship Chair and past Building Committee Chair at Barnes United Methodist Church. Lee also finds time to coach his son’s Little League Baseball team.
Jeff Lefton
Vice President Technical and Marketing
Jeff Lefton joined Mainscape in 1994, bringing over 30 years of industry knowledge to the company. Jeff served a dual role as Vice President of Marketing and Technical Services. Jeff's experience includes that of Assistant Professor at Ohio State University and the turf grass extension agent for Purdue University. Jeff also served as a Regional Manager for over 13 years at one of the largest lawn care firms in the United States. He graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree and a M.S. degree in Agronomy. Jeff is sought after for speaking engagements because of his business and technical background. He is active at Carmel United Methodist Church and is past President and Executive Director of the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation. He is a Certified Professional Agronomist as part of the American Society of Agronomy ARCPACS program.
